Annual letter From the President & 2010 Calander Below

2009 OSCHOA Sleigh Ride!

Dear Stony Creek Resident, February 1, 2010

I am writing this letter to you hoping that the Original Stony Creek HOA (OSCHOA) has served you well. As you know the OSCHOA operates purely on the efforts of our volunteers. As the OSCHOA President and a homeowner, it has been an honor and a privilege to serve the residents of this community and work to improve our neighborhood.

In the last year, the OSCHOA has held many events meant to enhance this neighborhood and promote a feeling of community. Many volunteers have stepped forward to assist with these events, and without their help, these activities would never have occurred. I want to thank all those who have given their time and talent to this community, it is greatly appreciated. The following are just a few of the events your contributions have provided for:
Spring Clean Up – Community Garage Sale – 4th Of July Parade – Fall Clean Up - Holiday Sleigh Ride

These events and more are paid for by your HOA dues. We have also purchased signs to post at prominent locations throughout the neighborhood to better inform residents of upcoming events or notices. This same information is also posted on the association web site. In addition to providing for these events, this year we are undertaking a much needed project involving the re-landscaping of our entry at Wadsworth and Columbine. If you have not noticed, the “Stony Creek” wall is crumbling. This will be a combined effort with the other HOAs in Stony Creek; however, we will have the largest portion since we have the greatest number of homes. In order to fund this project, association dues are more important now than they ever have been before. Look for information about this project and its progress on the website throughout the year.

Board members are volunteers and are elected by residents current within the association. If you have considered getting involved with the HOA, volunteers are always welcome at any time. There are currently openings on the board and annual elections will take place at the October meeting. Please contact me or the Treasurer via the website for more information or with any questions. We look forward to continuing to improve and enhance this community and appreciate your contributions.

Best Regards,
Scott Johnson
President, OSCHOA
